The Ironman Gravity 1000 is an impressive inversion table!
For the amount of money you need to spend, this inversion table definitely delivers!
We were thoroughly impressed by the Ironman Gravity 1000 and We’re going to tell you why through this review.
The Ironman Gravity 1000 falls under:
The Ironman “Gravity” Models
The “Gravity” series from Ironman are some of the most popular models of inversion tables on the market.
The Gravity 1000 is the very first model in line for the “Gravity” series. The same inversion table is the simplest and most affordable inversion table in this series.
List of Ironman “Gravity” Models:
- Gravity 2000
- Gravity 3000
- Gravity 4000
- Gravity 5000
The next model up is the Gravity 2000, the Gravity 3000, the Gravity 4000 (Best Inversion Table), & the Gravity 5000.
Again, this is the Ironman Gravity 1000 inversion table which is the lowest-priced and the most basic inversion table in the “Gravity” series.
Comparing to other inversion tables on the market: The Ironman Gravity 1000 outperforms them in a big way!
There is nothing like an Ironman inversion table due to the fact that they’re extremely popular. They’re also well-made and high-quality!
Along with Teeter,
You may recognize their logo or have even heard of their name from somewhere else. Ironman is a well-known trademark of the World Triathlon Corporation. The Ironman World Championship is hosted in Hawaii every year by the WTC, where you’ve probably recognized the name from.
Ironman has partnered with Paradigm Health and Wellness Inc to design and manufacture fitness equipment and training machines, including the inversion table.
Together, they’ve produced top-notch equipment and machines for all of their athletes and customers.
The Ironman Gravity 1000 is produced and manufactured by Paradigm H&W and they’ve done an impressive job with this inversion table.
The quality is top-notch and we were impressed with the results once we finished putting this inversion table through our rigorous testing.
Even though the Gravity 1000 is their base model of the “Gravity” series of inversion tables, it is still an impressive and well-made inversion table for the money!
Like mentioned before, it out-performs and is better made than some other inversion tables on the market within the same price range.
We recommend going with the Ironman Gravity 1000 if you’re looking for a cheaper option without sacrificing:
Even though it doesn’t feature some of the qualities and design of some the more expensive inversion tables such as Teeter or other Ironman models, the Ironman Gravity 1000 is an excellent inversion table for beginners and starters.

Like mentioned before, we went through the process of assembling the Ironman Gravity 1000. After finishing the assembly, we put the inversion table through our unique, rigorous test. We checked all of our testing parameters and we ensured each factor was tested for.

We mean it!
In this review, we’ve published the testing factors and their scores in the second part of our review.
We carefully inspected each factor and parameter. After testing the parameter, we carefully wrote down the rating for the respective factor.
On our review sheet below, we recorded each rating for each factor during our test and review of the Gravity 1000:
The Setup Process
Total Time: 54 Min. & 10 Sec.
The setup and assembly of the Ironman Gravity 1000 was close to around an hour. We were able to assemble and completely finish the setup process in that amount of time.
At the end of the setup, we assessed the difficulty factor for assembly which is based on several other factors including the amount of time it takes to completely put the inversion table together.
We have found the assembly difficulty for the Ironman Gravity 1000 around Medium.
We observed that it took us a little longer to setup the inversion table based on the times of some other inversion tables.
If the inversion table takes around a half an hour to complete, that’s a score of around Easy.
For the Ironman Gravity 1000, the assembly difficulty was Medium.
The Ironman Gravity 1000’s Outside Package:
Inside of the Package:
When we opened the box to begin our setup, everything was neatly organized and every section of the inversion table was wrapped in plastic.
In the small box, there were other smaller components such as the floor stabilizers, the screws and tools, pieces of the Ankle Locking System, etc…
The Ironman Gravity 1000 is comprised of 4 large pieces and other smaller pieces/components that make up the inversion table.
4 Large Pieces
- The A-Frame
- The Backrest
- The Leg/Ankle Apparatus “Ankle Locking System”
- Two (2) Safety Handles
There weren’t too many pieces and parts to deal with, but the setup process seemed a bit more tedious than some other inversion tables we setup.
For example, the tough non-skid floor stabilizers may already come attached to the A-frame but for this inversion table, they did not.
There were some other examples, but we will spare you the details.
I believe there were a few more steps to take, causing us to spend more time on this part of the process.
Assemble/Setup Difficulty Level: Medium or a B
This should’t be a big deal at all! The final product was incredible and the results were amazing!
The video below is a demonstration of the Ironman Gravity 1000 setup:

The Final Grade
In this section of our review of the Ironman Gravity 1000, we display each score of the 6 features of the inversion table.
In addition to sharing and publishing our formulated score for each feature, we then proceed to sharing our thoughts about the score we came up with and the pros and cons of the feature.
After processing our test results and completing each step of the process, at the very end of this section we conclude with the final score of the inversion table.
Even though the Gravity 1000 isn’t priced like some of the other pricier, top inversion tables on the market, it is definitely one of the most affordable inversion tables on the market.
It is the very first model, also known as the “base” model, in the “Gravity” line of inversion tables from the Ironman brand.
Nonetheless, it still performed extremely well in our test and gave us some impressive results and scores!
If you’re beginner or a starter in inversion therapy, it is recommended to start with something more basic and simple whenever you begin a new concept such as you are with inversion therapy.
This approach creates a smoother journey into understanding something totally new and gaining more experience along the way.
Use the Ironman Gravity 1000 as your first step in your journey to utilizing inversion therapy.
Each part of the “Final Grade” section explains why each feature received the score that it did and what we liked about it!
The Final Grade: 4.7 out of 5 Stars
The quality feature of the Ironman Gravity 1000 was excellent!
For the price and cost, this inversion table exceeded our expectations once we finished testing this factor.
Each part that constructed the inversion table felt sturdy and well-made.
The tubular steel around the frame of the Gravity 1000 was sturdy and durable.
Ironman constructed the frame with a stainless steel tubular frame that’s well-made and high-quality.
The steel frame features a scratch-resistant powder-coated finish, making it extremely smooth to the touch.
The backrest of the Ironman Gravity 1000 was constructed with a tough, durable nylon material that was stretched around the edge of the backrest frame.
The nylon material was very smooth to the touch and the material felt like it was high-quality.
The backrest was found to be very durable which is in part due to the quality of the backrest’s nylon material.
The handles alongside the frame of the Ironman Gravity 1000 were strong and made of the same steel that constructed the frame.
The handles were finished with a smooth, circular and durable coating that helped create a finishing touch to them.
The quality in the Ironman Gravity 1000’s ankle locking system was great.
The cup holders for the ankles were strong yet comfortable for the feet during our test.
The material felt strong yet supportive which features a direct connection with the quality of material.
The locking pin for the top two ankle-holding cups along with various steel parts of the Ankle Locking System were well-made with quality material.
Overall, Ironman doesn’t disappoint even with their most affordable inversion table.
We’ve concluded with a score for Quality of 5 Stars!
Durability goes hand in hand with quality. They’re like cousins. These two influence each other.
If one is down, so is the other. That’s a key feature we strive to look for in every inversion table we review here on Leading.
The Ironman Gravity 1000’s durability factor was excellent.
The Ironman Gravity 1000 is a very durable inversion table.
If the inversion table is constructed with high-quality material, then expect it to last a very long time.
If the quality factor features a high score, then the durability score should reflect the same score.
Each section of the Ironman Gravity 1000 inversion table will last a long time, even after much use and handling these parts.
Going with this inversion table is the right choice if you’re looking for a durable one.
We concluded with a score for Durability of 5 Stars!
The Ironman Gravity 1000 is a stable inversion table, thanks to its durable, stainless steel frame and tough rubber floor stabilizers.
The base, also called the A-frame, is made out of tough, tubular steel. This kind of material, stainless steel, helps reinforce the inversion table’s stability as well as help increase its score for Stability.
Ironman inversion tables are some of the safest inversion tables on the market.
When we tested for the Stability factor of the Ironman Gravity 1000,
The frame/base of the inversion table is wide enough to support great amounts of weight. This inversion table can support weight up to 300 pounds.
Thanks to its tough, non-skid rubber floor stabilizers attached to the corners of the frame, it’s a stable inversion table that won’t slip and slide on different kinds of floors.
These non-skid, rubber floor stabilizers are key additions to the frame that help influence the table’s Stability score.
During our test of the Gravity 1000, we found it to be slightly wobbly. Not much, just slightly.
We don’t know if the floor stabilizers weren’t exactly the same size or that the two bottom sides of the frame weren’t evenly matched.
The floor we tested the Ironman Gravity 1000 on was a hard, flat surface.
Nonetheless, this small issue was accounted for.
Along with the frame’s slight shakiness, we also felt that the Ankle Locking System seemed a bit loose.
Different parts and pieces of the Ankle Locking System seemed like they weren’t as tightly held together as it should be, even after tightening the screws in that area.
Again, this was noted during the test.
These small issues don’t seem very important but to us, they were. You see, we need to factor in all of these issues along with other smaller factors in order to effectively formulate a proper score for the feature.
We concluded with a score for Stability of 4 Stars!
The Ironman Gravity 1000 is a very comfortable inversion table. Even though it may not look as comfortable as some of the other “Gravity” models, this inversion table is as comfortable as some of those pricier models.
One of the key differences between each “Gravity” model is its backrest. Each “Gravity” model features a different look and construction.
Obviously because the Ironman Gravity 1000 is the first model in the “Gravity” series, it features a more basic, simple backrest than the others.
When we tested this feature of the Gravity 1000 model, we realized that it may be as comfortable as some of the other top inversion tables on the market!
The inversion table doesn’t have to feature a heavy price tag in order to enjoy an inversion therapy session.
Affordable, quality inversion tables like the Ironman Gravity 1000 are placed on the market for that specific purpose:
The backrest of the Gravity 1000 inversion table is constructed out of a quality, nylon material that is stretched evenly all around the frame of the backrest.
This kind of construction promotes a comfortable experience for when the back of the user is placed upon the backrest.
The Ankle Locking System is as comfortable as the backrest.
The Ankle Locking System is designed by a simple, basic locking mechanism that is common among many inversion tables.
During out test, we tested for the comfortability factor of the Ankle Locking System.
Obviously, there will be tension in around the ankles due to the nature of gravity pulling down on your body when you’re inverting.
Overtime, the ankles and your feet will begin to adjust to the pressure and comfort will begin to increase.
Overall, the Ironman Gravity 1000 is an affordable, comfortable inversion table.
We concluded with a score for Comfortability of 5 Stars!
The maneuverability factor for the Ironman Gravity 1000 inversion table was excellent.
It’s very easy to move. Storing the inversion table is just the same.
We’ve include as part of the test the Maneuverability factor which accounts for how manageable the inversion table is to move and store.
Some inversion tables are very heavy or they ‘re too big to handle/move for some people.
The result of this test proved that it was very easy to fold, store, and move.
Part of this test also proved that it was easy to move and handle.
It literally folds in seconds and very easy to move once the folding is completed.
Any person who enjoys inversion therapy will be able to easily handle this inversion table.
This Ironman Gravity 1000 weighs around 46 pounds. Very light!
We’ve concluded with a score for the Maneuverability Factor of 5 Stars!
How easy was it to use the Ironman Gravity 1000 during your test?
It’s important to formulate a score for this factor because it directly affects everyone who uses the Ironman Gravity 1000.
The Ironman Gravity 1000 was fairly easy to use during our test.We believe every single person can easily utilize this inversion table for their needs.
It’s very easy to get on and begin the inversion process. The backrest swivels up and down with ease.
The spine for the Ankle Locking System is very easy to adjust by pulling on the locking pin just underneath the bottom of the backrest.
One concern we had was it may be a little difficult to reach the spring-loaded, t-handle locking pin of the ankle locking system.
It may be of your concern if you’re especially prone to becoming light-headed after inverting on the inversion table.
This kind of ankle locking system setup may not be suitable for you, especially if the condition above applies to you.
Our test confirms that it’s very easy to use the inversion table, other than the fact that you’ll need to bend over towards the floor in order to release your feet from the Ankle Locking System.
Overall, the usability factor for the Ironman Gravity 1000 was very good.
We’ve concluded with a score for the Usability factor of 4 Stars!
