Exerpeutic Inversion Table Review

I was surprised when I put this inversion table together!

You’re wondering why SLAP such a SCORE on the Exerpeutic Inversion Table?

I didn’t expect for what the final product would look and feel like, considering the facts that backed up this product which I will eagerly post in this review.

Exerpeutic Therapeutic Fitness is just a brand that’s been printed on this inversion table’s package and etched on the inversion table itself.

Do not get confused and think that the brand name is the actual company that manufactured this inversion table.

The company that actually creates and manufactures this inversion tables is a company by the name of Paradigm – Health & Wellness.

They do not only manufacture this inversion table under this brand.

Paradigm H&W have helped produce and manufacture top inversion tables on the market such as the Ironman inversion tables.

For those who’ve been around the market for inversion tables know that Ironman may be the top brand on the inversion table market.

That’s why, as you can tell, is the reason to this shock that fell upon me when I put the Exerpeutic inversion table together.

Paradigm produces some of the top inversion tables on the market but fell really short on this one!

In fact, the best inversion table is one those Ironman inversion tables which is manufactured by Paradigm H&W!

I bought the Exerpeutic inversion table and assembled it myself.

I wanted to see first hand how well this inversion table is made and how well it performed.

Here are the pros and cons for the Exerpeutic Inversion Table:

Pros
Cons

  • Easy to Assemble
  • Easy to Move
  • Easy to Store
  • Poor Quality
  • Poor Stability
  • Poor Durability
  • Poor Features
  • Poor Weight Capacity
  • Poor Comfort

It stuns me to see such an imbalance for the Exerpeutic inversion table!

On a positive note, this inversion table is easy to manage and move. It isn’t too heavy and can be moved around by a single individual.

Even though the inversion table is easy to store and move, it’s lacking in other areas such as stability, comfort, etc… which has a direct effect on these other areas.

The cons for this inversion table are great and there are many!

The cons list is not only large but also lists some very important factors that can make or break an inversion table.

The Cons heavily outweigh the Pros!

Like I mentioned before, I bought the Exerpeutic inversion table. I took the time to purchase the inversion table.

I believe in honesty and integrity.

I tested this inversion table out personally and this review is just a reflection of what I found.

Everything I say or claim in this review is backed by physically trying and testing the Exerpeutic inversion table.

All of the claims in this review are made by me and only me. Every point I make in this review is back by me personally.

The setup for the Exerpeutic inversion table was fairly easy to do. Based on the setup process, I rate the assemble difficulty around low for this Exerpeutic inversion table.

It only took me around half an hour to properly and fully setup the Exerpeutic inversion table. The instructions were fairly easy to follow.

This is the box/package that the inversion table came in:

Within the package, three large pieces were waiting to be assembled together.

The Exerpeutic inversion table is comprised of three large parts, including several smaller pieces that make up the inversion table.

3 Large Pieces

  • The Stand
  • The Backrest
  • The Leg/Ankle Apparatus

I find that to be very easy to work with and the reason for a very good score!

Exerpeutic Inversion Table Owner's Manual

The Manual

I thought the owner’s manual was straight-forward and easy to follow.

There weren’t many pages in the manual, which helps make it easier to understand.

The owner’s manual consisted of the usual steps of properly setting up the Exerpeutic inversion table along with other information such as the warranty details, how to use an inversion table, and among other things.

If you’re interested in seeing a little more of what’s in the manual, check out the slider below with a few more page examples from the owner’s manual:

The Warranty

The Exerpeutic inversion table does come with a warranty.

However, they’re two parts to this warranty that apply to different parts/areas of the Exerpeutic inversion table.

I took a picture of the warranty and highlighted the most important part:

As you can see, all structural damage is under warranty for 1 year:

All other components damage, that is covered for a total of 90 days:

The Final Grade

2 out of 5 Stars Rating for the Exerpeutic Inversion Table

We finally arrived to the section where it all matters! This is where the inversion table is judged and scored.

Again, I was shocked to see what this inversion table is because I personally thought it would pass a higher grade than this.

Based on the reviews on its sales page on Amazon and what people were saying in those reviews, I thought this was one of the top inversion tables on the market.

But boy was I wrong! When I put together the Exerpeutic inversion table and used it, I wasn’t expecting to experience such low quality and performance from a popular inversion table!

My expectations were shattered! I didn’t think this inversion table would amount to such a low score, but it did!

Here on forward from this point in this review, I’m going to talk about each review factor and explain why that factor received a score that it did.

I want to further explain the features of this inversion tables and deeply review the factors of the Exerpeutic inversion table!

The Final Grade: 2 out of 5 Stars

Quality

I found the quality of the Exerpeutic inversion table to be poor. The quality of the Exerpeutic inversion table doesn’t even compare to the quality of the Ironman Gravity 4000 (The Best Inversion)!

The material of the inversion table was also found to be poor. From the inversion table’s stand/legs to the backrest and ankle system, the material in these parts weren’t that great.

One of the most important factors that determines the score for a certain inversion table is how well it is made and the level of quality.

The quality of material has a direct effect on all other areas!

Quality is the common denominator that determines many other factors and if it is found to be lacking, other areas will be lacking.

The frame for the Exerpeutic inversion table felt weak when I got on the inversion table. The frame didn’t feel solid when I was holding and moving it around.

The backrest came with some issues that popped up during the test, one being the backrest wasn’t as comfortable as it looks.

I felt the backrest for the Exerpeutic wasn’t as soft as a backrest should be. The material felt rough on the back which is a huge “no-no” for the backrest!

For the ankle system, this was probably the weakest area for this inversion table. It featured a basic design that many other inversion tables have. Nothing new here.

However, I felt like the ankle system for the Exerpeutic inversion table was too small and not as sturdy as some other ones. The ankle holders didn’t feel comfortable at all which again is a result of poor material quality as well as structural design.

Overall, the quality was graded poor comparing to other inversion tables on the market. I gave it 1 star for quality!

Durability

The durability factor for the Exerpeutic inversion table was found to be poor. This factor goes hand in hand with the quality factor which you just looked at.

If the quality is low, so will the durability of an inversion table. Again, these two mirror each other.

The Exerpeutic inversion table isn’t a durable inversion table.

Don’t be shocked if you do go with it to be looking at parts and pieces coming apart or off of the inversion table.

The ankle lock system is poor in quality so you’re looking at potentially a non-durable area of the inversion table.

The frame also appears and feels fragile which results in a low-durable inversion table.

Again, if the quality is low, so will its durability!

Stability

What do you think the score is for the stability factor for the Exerpeutic inversion table?

If you guessed 1 star, then you’re right!

The stability score was right down there along with the other low scoring factors such as the quality and durability.

The frame seems too narrow to handle too much weight. I felt like it barely handled me, coming in just under two hundred pounds!

It says it features a weight capacity of around 300 pounds, but I doubt I’d have enough confidence to put that much weight on a non-stable inversion table.

If you’re someone who weighs more than 200 pounds, I would be looking somewhere else for now!

Don’t risk it with this inversion table! Notice how the backrest’s “spine” doesn’t align with the rest of the frame of the inversion table.

Do you see it?

Exerpeutic Inversion Table: Frame Issue
Exerpeutic Inversion Table: Stability Issue

How can this inversion table be a stable inversion table when the frame is crooked?

The frame looks like it’s veering away from the center. That’s never good!

This is a serious issue concerning the Exerpeutic Inversion Table!

Because of this issue with the frame, the stability was graded at only 1 star! While testing the inversion table, I didn’t feel stable due to its non-durable, non-stable frame.

Comfortability

The comfortability factor wasn’t that great for the Exerpeutic inversion table. I felt like the inversion table was too narrow and uncomfortable.

Here are several points I want to point out in this section:

The ankle system is definitely not comfortable. I know that it is the common design that most inversion tables feature, but I’m telling you that this design is not comfortable at all!

Remember, you’re hanging from this point, your ankles, so you want to make sure that you’re counting on the ankle system of an inversion table.

It is imperative that the ankle locking system of the inversion table is as comfortable as possible since that is where the most pressure is going to be felt while inverting!

This is crucial!

Backrest of the Exerpeutic Inversion TableAnother point I want to make about the comfortability of the Exerpeutic inversion table was its backrest.

Initially it looks like a solid, comfortable backrest based on the images. Thinking to myself that the backrest should at least be the best part of the Exerpeutic inversion table.

Nope. It didn’t perform as expected. Sub-par for such a backrest design. Here are a few reasons why:

One, the backrest for the Exerpeutic inversion table wasn’t as soft as it should be. It felt rough on my back. It shouldn’t feel like you’re lying on a pillow but it should either feel like your lying on a sheet of plywood.

Also the backrest seemed a bit small, judging from looking and trying it in person. The images make it seem to be a larger backrest, but it appeared smaller to me.

The backrest was small because my head was coming off of it at the top! I didn’t appreciate that at all!

When inverting, you need support for your head and neck. If my head isn’t being supported and the backrest isn’t going well above my head, then the inversion table’s comfort level is going to get a hit!

Again, the Exerpeutic’s backrest isn’t as good as it looks!

Safety Handles of the Exerpeutic Inversion Table

At least one positive aspect was its safety handles. I thought that they were well designed.

They were long enough so that one can hold on to them from nearly all positions. This was a great safety handle design.

This is will give a person inverting a sense of safety and comfort!

Overall, the comfort level and comfortability for the Exerpeutic inversion table was low. I was dissappointed to come up with this grade for this inversion table.

The comfort factor is a huge factor! It can make or break an inversion table!

Maneuverability

Ahhh, we finally reached the spot where we can say something positive about the Exerpeutic inversion table!

Even though this factor isn’t as important as the other “bigger” factors that we just discussed about, this shouldn’t be overlooked!

I found the maneuverability factor for this inversion table to be great! Yup I said it, great!

I was able to move from one room to the other with ease. Remember, the inversion table isn’t no small piece of equipment.

If you’re going to get one, realize that you may need another individual help you move it around. This may happen!

The Exerpeutic inversion table came in on the lighter end, making it easy to move around.

This inversion table can also be stored in a closet or in a corner of the room without taking much room at all.

After use, you can quickly fold this inversion table and store it where ever you’d like!

The Final Verdict

Do Not Recommend!

I know the price tag looks very good. Don’t let it fool you though! After testing this inversion table, the cost for this inversion table speaks for itself.

Even tough the Exerpeutic inversion table features a lower price tag, that doesn’t mean you’re getting a great inversion table.

After much testing and putting the inversion table through a rigorous testing process, it is safe to say that I do not recommend this inversion table.

If you’re a beginner and you’re looking for your first inversion table, please do not go with this particular inversion table. It may be tempting, but don’t go with this inversion table.

I have a better solution and a much better inversion table that won’t disappoint you. This is literally the best inversion table out there!

Best Inversion Table of 2016!

So again, I am disappointed with the Exerpeutic inversion table.

The Best Inversion Table of 2016 does features a higher price tag but remember that it isn’t that much more. Would you rather get a cheap, not recommended inversion table than an inversion table that is the best on the market?

I recommend this:
